Hello! I am a Licensed Social Worker who is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s many challenges, transitions, and healing processes. I graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with my bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work. Most of my experience in the mental health field has been working with adults and older adults facing chronic illness, bereavement, and transitioning to end-of-life. I have worked with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, grief, trauma, mood disorders, interpersonal challenges, and physical disabilities. At this stage of my career, I am excited to provide care to people of all ages and backgrounds in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania! As a therapist, I utilize an eclectic person-centered approach that is grounded in compassion and curiosity. When working with my clients, I pull from different treatment modalities and theories depending on what works best for the person in front of me. It’s not a “one size fits all”! I pride myself on creating a warm therapeutic space where clients can feel safe expressing and exploring themselves without the fear of judgement. My role in the therapeutic relationship is to help improve the mental health and self-esteem of my clients by helping them identify realistic coping mechanisms and learn to better understand themselves. Reaching out for support is a very courageous step, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward growth and healing!

Hello, my name is Jackie! During my time as a therapist, I’ve worked hard to destigmatize mental health struggles and normalize going to therapy, even when things are going well! Therapy should not be viewed as something negative; rather it is a way to better understand yourself on a deeper level and make the positive changes you desire in your life. By building trust in therapy and working through problems together, clients can expect to notice an improved sense of self, improved interpersonal relationships, increased control of emotions, and overall better quality of life. I have experience working with a wide variety of people and am open to working with people from all backgrounds and identities. I am comfortable working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and trauma symptoms. I also have experience working with people struggling with grief and loss, life transitions and changes, interpersonal conflicts, chronic physical health issues, and substance abuse. I am DBT certified and utilize many DBT skills in my sessions with clients. I also utilize CBT, trauma informed care, mindfulness, person centered therapy, feminist psychology, internal family systems, and many other approaches in session. I received my BS in psychology from Lock Haven University (2016) and my MS in counseling psychology from Holy Family University (2020). I also hold an active LPC license in both NJ and PA and can accept clients from both states.
