Taneshia A. Reid, MSN, APN, PMHNP

Taneshia is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She has been working in health care in various capacities since 2000. She completed her undergraduate degree in nursing at Helene Fuld School of Nursing in 2010 and upon completion continued to obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Thomas Jefferson University in 2011.  During her tenure as a registered nurse, she developed a wealth of practical knowledge in various clinical areas including home care, acute care, critical care, reentry corrections, substance use, education, and mental health nursing. These experiences lead Taneshia to develop a profound level of passion for holistic patient care, with a special interest in behavioral health.  The intense desire to empower and educate clients, in turn propelled her to continue her education and obtained a master’s degree in nursing with a concentration in psychiatric mental health at Walden University in 2023. As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, she has gained experience and a wealth of knowledge serving individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities.
