Megan Ward, LSW

Hello! I am a Licensed Social Worker who is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s many challenges, transitions, and healing processes. I graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with my bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work. Most of my experience in the mental health field has been working with adults and older adults facing chronic illness, bereavement, and transitioning to end-of-life. I have worked with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, grief, trauma, mood disorders, interpersonal challenges, and physical disabilities. At this stage of my career, I am excited to provide care to people of all ages and backgrounds in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania!

As a therapist, I utilize an eclectic person-centered approach that is grounded in compassion and curiosity. When working with my clients, I pull from different treatment modalities and theories depending on what works best for the person in front of me. It’s not a “one size fits all”! I pride myself on creating a warm therapeutic space where clients can feel safe expressing and exploring themselves without the fear of judgement. My role in the therapeutic relationship is to help improve the mental health and self-esteem of my clients by helping them identify realistic coping mechanisms and learn to better understand themselves. Reaching out for support is a very courageous step, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward growth and healing!
