Dr. Sachin Mehta Joins Advocare Integrative Behavioral Health
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Sachin Mehta, MD has joined Advocare Integrative Behavioral Health as Medical Director. A board-certified psychiatrist with nearly 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Mehta is widely respected for his expertise in diagnosing and treating complex psychiatric conditions—including refractory depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.

Dr. Mehta brings with him a distinguished record of leadership in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, having previously served as Division Chief of Adult Psychiatry and Medical Director of Outpatient Services at Belmont Behavioral Health System, among other roles. He is also known for advancing innovative treatment modalities, including Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy.

A graduate of the Carilion–University of Virginia psychiatry residency program, Dr. Mehta has also completed specialized training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and has contributed significantly to mental health education through academic, media, and professional platforms.
